Our operating companies handle claims. This experience helps route your information to the appropriate team based on the type of claim you are submitting.


What to expect

You will be asked a few questions to determine the type of claim.

  • Title Insurance claims are handled directly by Old Republic Title

  • Home Warranty and Auto Warranty requests are handled by their respective companies

  • All other claims are routed through this general intake form for review and triage

Once submitted, your information will be directed to the appropriate team.

What information do I need to provide when starting a claim?

To help route your request to the appropriate claims team, you may be asked to provide:

  • Your name and contact information

  • The state associated with the policy

  • A policy number (if available)

  • Your connection to the loss (for example, policyholder, insured, claimant, or broker)

  • The general type of loss or issue

Providing complete and accurate information helps ensure your request reaches the right team as quickly as possible.

Where can I find the policy number?

The policy number may be numeric or alphanumeric and can typically be found on:

  • A policy document or declarations page

  • An Auto ID card

  • Billing statements or policy correspondence

  • A police or incident report prepared by law enforcement

  • Emails or letters from the insurance provider

What if I do not have a policy number? If you cannot locate the policy number, you can still submit your request. Please provide as much information as possible so the appropriate claims team can assist with locating the policy.
When will I hear from a claims specialist after submitting my form? After your request is submitted, it will be reviewed and routed to the appropriate operating company claims team. Response timing may vary depending on the type of claim and the company involved. Providing accurate contact information will help ensure timely follow-up.
Can someone else, such as my broker or agent, file a claim on my behalf? Yes. Brokers, agents, or other authorized representatives may submit a claim or request on your behalf, provided they have the necessary information and authorization to do so.
